52 Week Leisure Challenge: Week 10 – Cooking Class!

I know; I am WAY behind – but, we’ll get there eventually. 🙂

In the meantime, while my daughter was home during the Christmas holiday, I took her out to a cooking class for her 21st birthday at Sorrentino’s. It was a lot of fun! While I would say that the classes are for a beginner level cook, the experience of it all was worth it!

There are a plethora of benefits to enrolling in a cooking class and according to this web article, here are a few of the advantages:

Class Description: Sorrentino’s Cooking Classes are a hands-on experience where you can enjoy the fruits of your labour with a sit-down dinner to conclude your evening. On our menu for the evening was: Devilled Eggs, Pacific Smoked Salmon, Rye Bread Toast, Spaghetti with Lobster, Cherry Tomatoes, Shallots, Parsley, Pan-Fried Sockeye Salmon, Seasonal Roasted Vegetables, Capers Remoulade, and Christmas Light Cup Cake with M&M’s and Chocolate Sauce. Paired with our meal was a glass of prosecco and a choice of red or white wine with our dinner.
